This is a variation of the maple sugar and maple syrup pies and is another very old recipe. 1 c brown sugar butter the size of an egg 1 c maple syrup 3 eggs (separated) 1/2 c sweet milk nutmeg to taste Method: Combine ingredients and mix well together. Then add the beaten egg whites Pour into unbaked pie crust and bake at 350 degrees until firm.
