| Paper mache
recipe Mix well: 1 cup water 1/4 cup flour Add 5 cups water Boil gently for couple of minutes and let cool. Egg 1. Blow up balloon. 2. Dip newspaper strips in mache and place around balloon. 3. Repeat until entire balloon has several layers covering it. 4. Let dry for a day. 5. Stick in needle to puncture balloon. 6. Let dry for another day or so. 7. You may wish to use any of the following to decorate... a. Cover with different colors of tissue paper. b. Cover with light weight pieces of cloth. c. Paint with tempera. 8. After covered or painted, and any extras like buttons, sequins, etc. 9. Spray with acrylic sealer. |
