| You will need: Part of a sheet of shrink opaque plastic you can use the oven or toaster oven black marker with an extra fine point for tracing black marker for coloring cookie sheet aluminum foil black thread scissors paper punch oven mitts |

Instructions: 1. Lay a sheet of shrink plastic over the bat pattern. 2. Trace the design with the extra-fine point black pen. 3. Color both sides of the bat with the regular black marking pen. 4. Cut out the bat. 5. Make a hole in the center top of the bat with a paper punch. 6. Preheat the oven to 250 degrees. 7. Place plastic pieces on cookie sheet or aluminum foil. 8. Follow manufacturer's directions for baking time. 9. Watch as it bakes. As it begins to shrink, it will curl up, but will soon open and flatten. 10. When completely flat, using oven mitts, remove from oven, lay on a flat surface and let cool. 11. Bend the bat wings forward (using oven mitts) while plastic is still hot. 12. Tie a piece of black thread through the hole in the bat and suspend from ceiling. |
