| You will need: 1 1/2 inch and 3 inch styrofoam balls 2 inch styrofoam egg wooden dowel, 1/2-inch x 20 1/2 inches 7 dark sapphire star acrylic stones (15mm) 16 turquoise pear-shaped acrylic stones (8 x l8mm) 24 dark sapphire cartwheel beads (18mm) 15 dark sapphire cartwheel beads (25mm) 39 light sapphire or crystal plastic pins gold paint gold glitter clear drying craft glue hot glue gun serrated knife, jigsaw, ruler, old paintbrush, disposable container |

Instructions: 1. The Queen's Scepter picture can be found above. 2. Paint dowel gold and let dry. 3. Cut 3/4 inch off small end of styrofoam egg. Hot glue remaining egg to the top of the large styrofoam ball. 4. Cut a 1/2 inch hole in the bottom of the large ball opposite the egg. Insert the dowel about 1 1/2 inches by rotating it. Hot glue dowel in the hole. Insert opposite end of dowel in small ball by rotating it. Hot glue into hole. 5. Thin craft glue by mixing with a small amount of water. Use paintbrush to coat large ball, small ball, and egg. Cover with gold glitter. Let dry. 6. Insert plastic pins in 15 (25 mm) cartwheel beads and press them around the center of the large ball. 7. Pin 11 (18mm) cartwheel beads around bottom of egg where it is glued to ball. Pin one at the tip of the egg. Pin six (18mm) cartwheel beads at the base of the large ball around the dowel. Pin six (18mm) cartwheel beads around the dowel at the top of the small ball. |
