Materials: 1. Clothespin (buy at craft shop) 2. 2 popsicle sticks 3. Wooden dowel (5/8" diameter) or bead (5/8" long) 4. Craft glue 5. Acrylic paints: red, white, gold and black 6. Gummed back paper star (optional) Instructions: 1. Cut each popsicle stick to 2 1/4'' for arms. 2. Glue hat (dowel or bead) and arms to clothespin body. 3. Paint jacket red. 4. Paint pants. hat and gloves white. 5. Paint boots black. 6. Paint gold buttons on the jacket. 7. Paint features on face, and a red star on hat or use a gummed-back paper star. 8. For hanging loop, staple folded cord into hat. |
