Materials: 1. Wooden clothespin (buy at craft store) 2. Acrylic paints: black, red 3. Eyelet trim for dress 4. White gauzy fabric for bonnet 5. Craft glue Instructions: 1. Cut a 2 1/4'' top from wooden clothespin - 1/2''rounded top is head, and the rest is the body. 2. Use acrylic paints to add hair and sleeping face. 3. Make dress from 2 1/2'' wide eyelet trim. Cut piece 4 1/2'' long and make 1/4'' back seam. 4. Fold down 1/4'' at neck edge and gather to fit around baby's neck. 5. To make the bonnet, fold a scrap of white gauzy fabric to fit around baby's head. 6. Stitch bottom edge of bonnet to top of dress. 7. Put a dab of glue at sides to hold in place. |
